As an extension of the festival, we organize an educational day specifically designed for students in grades 8 through 10. This day includes a screening as well as talks by speakers on the subjects of inclusivity, discrimination, and identity. Our primary goal is to foster a greater understanding, respect, and celebration of diversity among both students and teachers in our schools as well as our community.
This year, we are honored to have esteemed guest speakers Jalal Arabi, Jasmin Mote and Esther Margreth Petersen, who will share their insights and experience with our audience.

DRAG-AKADEMIIÐ / DRAG ACADEMY
FO: Drag-akademiið skapar ein pall fyri spírandi føroyskar drotningar, kongar og alt har ímillum. EN: Drag Academy is providing a unique platform for aspiring Faroese Queens, Kings, and everything in between, offering a closed workshop led by a professional drag artist, focusing on various aspects of the artform, such as wigs, makeup, costumes, and even walking in high heels. The ultimate goal is to help participants gain self-confidence and potentially perform in front of a live audience.
Through this program, we want to celebrate drag history and spread love and joy through the art form of drag.
We are thrilled to welcome the Norwegian drag Queen Nabi Yeon Geisha leading our workshops, which is open to all levels, and anyone who desires to learn more.
