Mamma, pápi og tveir synir eru í kreppu, eftir at tey flýddu úr Sýria og vórðu skild sundur millum trý ymisk lond. Mamman er í Danmark, pápin í Kanada og synirnir í Turkalandi. Í stríð við býrokratiið royna tey alt, tey eru ment, at sameina familjuna aftur. A mother, father and their two sons are in crisis after having fled Syria and now find themselves split between three different countries. The mother is in Denmark, the father in Canada and their two sons in Turkey. Having to go through different stages of bureaucracy they try all they can to be reunited. Mira Jargil’s careful and emphatic docu- mentary follows the family through their pain and hardships as they have to deal with their new environment as well as the struggle to be apart. (DG)
